The Ohio LSAMP Alliance: Conference 2019, was held on April 12-13, 2019 the two-day retreat-style conference offered LSAMP Scholars the opportunity to present research, participate in workshops, network, and reinforce their commitment to STEM careers. The 2019  keynote speaker, Dr. Frederic Bertley highlighted the importance of diversity and inclusion in scientific discovery and STEM literacy. Drs. Cooper, Vernon and Silvera Batista outlined the role LSAMP played in their success in academia, research, and business. Ohio LSAMP scholars competed in the annual research poster presentation with the overall winner being awarded $200.
