Dr. Gallant joined the Ohio LSAMP Alliance in January 2019. She is also an associate professor in the quantitative research, evaluation and measurement (QREM) program in the Department of Educational Studies, College of Education and Human Ecology. Dr. Gallant holds a BA in Mathematics, MEd in Secondary Education Mathematics, and PhD in Educational Research.
Dr. Johnson joined the Ohio LSAMP Alliance in September 2020. She brings to this role scholarly expertise in diversity, equity, and inclusion practices in higher education and how they are shaped by cultural and organizational dynamics, as well as professional experience in strategic planning and leading diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Dr. Johnson holds a BA in Educational Studies and Urban Studies from Washington University in St. Louis, an MS in Higher Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University, and a PhD in Educational Leadership and Policy from The University of Texas at Austin.
Abena is a Ph.D. student in the Quantitative Research, Evaluation and Measurement program. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and her Master's at the University of Ghana, Legon. Her research interests are in program monitoring and evaluation. Prior to coming to OSU, she taught business management courses at the Ghana Technology University College.
